TJOTMS, Ep 13: “13… Nice time to be stuck in the Warp”

Location
KCS Mary Shelly
Warpspace

Background
Continuing from our last Episode, the KCS Mary Shelley was attacked while at anchor at K’tusk Free Station. She sustained heavy damage but escaped into the warp. (Link: HERE)

Although it was a close run thing, the fires were brought under control, the hull was sealed, and the Gellar fields are holding. She is safe for the moment.

After visiting the wounded, Captain Thuries meets with the Command Group to assess the implications of the attack.

The Lead Navigator shares maps and supporting documentation from her guild of the next region of space along their course to New Texas.

Navigator Miranda Staurakia
“Mesuela...  the last significant trading hub before entering the Wona Anomaly, the home of New Texas and Graveskul.  It should have everything we need. The local Navigators and Traders will have information about Wona, and there should be experienced spacers we could recruit to replace our losses.”

Cpt. Thuries
“Mesuela it is, but we cannot risk a close orbit with the planet. The Dragon is still out there and still hunting us. We will send transports remotely and maintain our ability to maneuver.”

Senior Pilot "Zero" Lausie
“If we patrol to protect the Shelley, we cannot protect the Transports enroute to and from the planet.”

Cpt. Thuries
“That is the lesser risk.”
