New Guises for the Heroes 2, William
Master Builder William
An eclectic engineering genius. Master Builder William eschews the spotlight, but he is quietly one of the most prolific architects in the Kingdom of Colores. Almost every major structure, from shipyards, to powerplants, defense installations and even the Governor-General’s Mansion at Travis Point have his design fingerprints on them.

I present my oldest. He doesn't really game, but, for a high functioning autistic kid, he has a vivid imagination. Currently, we share my gameroom. When I use it, the room is called, "the battle room". When he's in there, it's called the "Thompson Cat Construction Workshop" and it is filled with giant imaginary construction equipment for his company's endless massive projects.
I have my imaginary world and he has his. Side by side. :)
Cool
ReplyDeleteLove the likeness! Very clever.
ReplyDeleteIt's his "work" uniform, and he changes into it everyday when he gets home from school.
DeleteThey both look great Wil, & it good that you can share the same place for your worlds.
ReplyDeleteDoes the Thompson Cat Construction Company build in 28 millimeter? If they do, oh, bingo baby have you got symbiosis! Conquering/building a better world together. Nicely done. I like both your hobbies. My brother and I built lego spaceships and bases and then fought with them. In many ways I think I'm a modeler with an occasional side gig as a wargamer. (Why build all those model airplanes if you can't run around like a maniac making pew pew noises . . . and colliding with your brother in the middle of a Thatch weave, knocking the wings off both planes and falling down laughing.) I hope your sector six luck continues and further inspires more of us. :)

Yes, it's fun. Fortunately, imaginary 50' cranes and imaginary 35 ton bulldozers have a very small (and apparently variable) footprint.

Not currently, but he does love it when the model trains are up.

LOL, when my younger son first started playing with me, he explained that the quality of sound effects should determine the outcome and using dice made everything boring.
Thanks for looking!

ReplyDeleteAn EPIC rule!
