...with a second squadron approaching from the front to cut off escape

One Colores fighter peels back and gets a missile lock on a trailing enemy

Meanwhile, on board the KCS Mary Shelley

Comm Tech Jones
Captain, we have a Warp Emergence. It's the RS Drache. I've updated the TacPlot...

Captain Thuries
Dammit, they can get between us and the transports. They have the jump on us AGAIN.
Battle Stations, change course by 90. Straight at them!

STAY TUNED!!!

----------------
Just one more week to go until the "Fight for New Texas" begin in earnest. 7 months of prep!. Everything is built. Rules are written, scenarios loosely laid out... I cannot wait!!!

Comments

  1. 90 degree course change seems like it will send the good ol'MS to where the Drache WAS.... things would not end up well for the transports with a heavy ship blasting away at them.

Looking forward to reading about how this turns out!

  3. Brings a new meaning to the Hail Mary Pass: "Hail Mary full of birds, the ball is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst the decks, and blessed be the scrambles from thy cats; the Ready Fighters. Mary Shelly, mother ship, launch for us transports, now and at the hour of our contact."

    1. Thanks Suber.
I've stepped back from a lot of the editing I used to do post-photo and gone back to trying to get exactly what I want in the original shot itself.
